Torchwood Theme: A Rip-Off of Clint Mansell?

Is it just me or does the themesong to "Torchwood" sound a whole heck of a lot like Clint Mansell's "Requiem for a Tower"?

Requiem for a Tower - Clint Mansell

Mansell's song was quite effectively in this preview for Danny Boyle's SUNSHINE:

I think this piece of music might be one of the most "borrowed from" and over used in the history of film scores.

I really like Mansell and I thought his original score for Requiem for a Dream was really good, but after it kept showing up in movie trailer after movie trailer for other films it got a bit annoying. Check out the music Wiki page for all the films it's been used in.

I've also noticed that one of the new trailers for the film Hitman seems to either use or "borrow" from Mansell's piece of music too.
